The Realm of Nosea - Land of Dragons
Hi all,
I started a new map, using the Donjon Fantasy Generator, but a little too late to participate in the April Challenge.
I have no started yet the map itself. I will draw two islands i think.
It's a A3 watercolor sheet.
Any comments on the beginning are welcome

A very good start, Narc : clean and neat.
Not a bad idea to start with the ornaments instead of the map itself, especially when you work with ink and paper.

Haha, I understand you ! Can I give you a tip ? Quickly draw a rough "double" of your map on another paper, and use this one to test your color and technique before trying on the real one : that's the best way to step back and decide if it will work or not !Originally Posted by Narc

I will do color tests before painting the map, especially that it will be the first time i use watercolor paper .

I finished the pencil. Now it's time to ink
I don't have enough place on my map to draw the 23 active castles i had to put. I didn't think an A3 sheet could be so small !
For this map, i drew my inspiration from Tom. I loved his icons.
