Hello all,
I'm Giorgio De Michele, but Erebus is my work nickname and the nick I use to sign my illustrations.

I work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, with years of experience in the games industry, especially in boardgames and rpgs
I'm actively working for companies such as Monte Cook Games (Numenera, The Strange), Eagle Gryphon Games, Artistic Justice Games, Giochi Uniti, Ghenos games, Gotha Games, plus a lot of small and medium indie publishers.

I love making maps from when I started drawing and read my first Lone Wolf game-books ages ago.
I did a lot of maps for my rpgs in the past, and now I've restarted following my work.

I love rpgs, and I'm developing my own system and setting, whose map I will post soon!

I follow this board from years occasionally, but it really resparked my passion for maps: even if I do a lot of boards and maps for boardgames, they rarely follow the historical/fantasy style of rpg maps.

And I also have a small son.
As you can guess, I have no free time

ITA: in realtà sono un Toscano di importazione, sono nato a Torino, mia moglie a Bologna e i miei genitori sono di origini Lucane. Però mi fermavo tutti gli anni in Toscana mentre andavo in meridione al mare, da quando mio padre mi fece conoscere questa bella regione, e me ne sono innamorato.
Quindi siccome volevamo aprire un B&B, abbiamo deciso per farlo qui dove ci piace la gente, la terra e le città
