    Map Arcannan World Map

Here it is at last. I made a few tiny tweaks, and here is the final version! (probably).

This will be an ongoing commission, now that I have completed the world map I will go onto to do regional maps.

Please let me know what you think!

Here is a little background to the land from the client:

Civilizations were shattered, and the world was remade. The jungles closest to the Sea, and the Blasted Lands near to it are all twisted and monstrous - a place of Eldtritch horrors and madness. I love the crater appearance of the mountains, its awesome!
Thank you to everyone who gave their input in the WIP thread, it's incredibly helpful and makes me do better!

Really nice piece of work Josiah. Is it for a novel or game? Will it be published?

The map is fantastic Josiah ! You always achieve a global impression that my work lack. I'm too obsessed with details to see the full picture and you got that skill dear sir

Beautiful map, Josiah! That crater sea is gorgeous.
One note : I think it's missing an indication of where are located the two inset maps comparatively from the big one.

    Thanks Ilantar!
Yes... That's true. Well, I didn't even think about it. I'm not sure the client knows exactly how far it is, just somewhere in the great blue sea.

A very fine map Josiah, one to be proud of. Love the colors and depth of light and shadow. I imagine your client is well pleased with it as well. I do think a title and a compass rose would provide nice finishing touches to this piece though. However even without them it's a fine piece.

Beautiful work, Josiah! Love the colours and the overall layout. Interested to know that there's more coming from this world and looking forward to your next piece.
