I hope I have this posted in the right place. I didn't see anything specifically for tools.
Does anyone know where I can find some General Pencil No. 207 Nib holders? There are
plenty of the No. 204's out there but there is quite a bit of difference in the two. The 207
has a split metal clamp up inside the pen body, that is springy. It holds tension on the nib.
The 204 has a cork finger grip on the big/nib end of the handle. It just uses friction to hold
the nib in place. I searched the company, which is one of the last pencil factories in the
country, and they don't make them any more. I need at least 2, if possible 3. I found 4 of
them in a package deal on Ebay, but the overall price is rather high, and the shipping and
handling killed the deal for me. Any help would be appreciated......
I have one that I have had for quite a long time. And the metal spring part has just about
turned to dust.

The alternate solution is the No. 204 nib holder. I can use them OK, in fact I have several of them.
I just like the No. 207 better...My hand fits it better, and I think it is a better choice for holding the nibs.
I may just have to bite the bullet and purchase the set I found.
Thanks for the interest.....

What about exacto blade holders? A lot of them have a pressure clamp, but they are all flat, would that work? Or do they require a rounded clamp?
I know its not the one that you want because its a totally different number, but it at least looks a bit like the 207. Would it be a reasonable alternative?

Or there's this one?

And this one actually seems to have the number 204 B on its stem:

I kind of drew a blank other than those three. Sorry!
