Aug/Oct '21 Lite Challenge: Archaeologists' camp of Kronn

I haven't drawn any maps for quite a while and I'm really late to the game, but I'm gonna try to get this map done in time.

Kronn is a town in my fantasy world and some of my stories take place there. The map shows a small part of this town several centuries later, when an archaeological excavation digs up a building that seems to be the house of a rich merchant.

For now I only have a first sketch. I'll start with the map this evening.

The linework is mostly done. Unfortunately I won't have any time the next few days, so I have just one evening to do the colouring. I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish the map.

Agreed, hoping you can get back to it before the deadline. The lineart looks great.

Thanks a lot, ChickPea and Kier! I got most of the colouring done, but it was quite a struggle. It was my first time working with watercolours and well ... I definitely need to practice. Due to my difficulties I decided to do the shadows mostly with coloured pencils.
Hopefully I'll have the time to work on some details and to get a better photo or a scan of the map.

I scanned the map. The last step is to do a border and a title, perhaps also a legend, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it in time. I'm not really happy with the map to be honest - I had a very different (and perhaps too ambitious) picture in my head.
