    Default Sell maps online?

What are some good ways to offer maps for sale? I'm considering eBay, but there isn't much of a roleplaying market other than selling old books etc. I know there are some sites out there that cater specifically to the roleplaying community, may I have the links please Im already looking into creating my own website in order to market myself (thanks for all the help on that previous post), but without some recognition I won't get far.

check out a thread posted by torstan yesterday - its all about marketing your mapping skills online
But concidering your question, I'm guessing a BIG question arises... are you selling electronic or printed maps. If you sell printed maps, then you could try selling them through rpg webshops or even amazon. If they are electronic then you can use your own site or again try rpg-shops and forums. Just remember, if anybody sells them for you, they'll want a piece of the profit - and don't be amazed at 50% or more, after all they are doing the marketing for you and actually getting the customers.
So its often the question of getting 50% of something or 100% of nothing

and not to mention a fellow who's name says it all....Game Printer. He has a business printing and shipping maps. Find a post of his and I am almost sure there is a link in his sig that will lead you to the right place.

Maps.com has what they call a "Map Marketplace" for folks who make maps but don't want to deal with marketing/printing/selling. Not sure about their share split, but they get a lot of traffic, so it's more about volume of sales with them: Maps.com -- Map Marketplace: Information
