first map early rough draft

This is probably pretty common, but I just wanted to touch base and get some opinions before I continued further down with this map. It's my first attempt at anything like this and any feedback is appreciated.

Note: the mark through the center is a canyon/rift that is story based for the campaign I'm working on

nice start! how is that canyon working though? i assume its an island with water around, and the canyon is shown to go fom coast to coast - how is it not filling with water and become sea?
otherwise, nice rough coast line - although the overall shape is still visible. for example on the lower coast, it seems to be a curved line from which you worked the fjords inland. give it a bit more randomness there maybe?

going for the full continent, but with so little detail so far I could see island yeah. The canyon was rent into the land by magical means. Planning on capping the edges with mountains formed from the lands destruction.
