It started with a letter...
That's it, a map that began with a letter. There are two options, free choice or Community Leaders choose the theme of the letter contents.
The letter could be a cry for help from a damsel in distress or an intercepted letter saying where a great treasure may be found. The map might even show the path that a letter has taken as it passes from port to port following a sailor. Maybe his sweetheart is writing to him to ask him to bring some Curly Wurlys home because the local Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe has run out.
The challenge must contain a letter, or part of a letter or be obviously and heavily influence by a letter.
