Thread: Looking for an Artist-Cartographer for D&D Map(s)

  1. #1

Default Looking for an Artist-Cartographer for D&D Map(s)

    Good evening everyone:

I am looking for an Artist-Cartograph willing to help me realize a map (or two) for my DnD homebrew campaign.
It was a project that I underestimated... Breaking my teeth on Inkarnate did teach me a good lesson.

Below this introduction, you will find the template for creating a request. At least it will be easier for you to find the information(s) needed.

    The Subjects:
    • An eventual Sketch of the maps: If I do not fail to import everything, you can find a picture (format .jpeg) of the first drawn on Azgaar's website.
      Bouzyia 2020-09-16-18-59.jpeg

    • A verbal description:
I am looking for a "world map" of the continent/realm located on the left of the picture above.
And a better version of the world map that you have linked in this post.
    • Other(s) information not reported on the sketch:
The "equator" is located between the two continents at the right part of the map.
The poles are not reported. The northern Pôle is close to the landmasses while the southern Pôle is more away.
    • The scale: I have no idea how that work and on what would be the best for these two maps.

Update made on 22th of September 2020
    Good afternoon everyone.

I want to thank you all for your prompt answer, i was not thinking to receive such amount of feed-back for this half-baked project of mine.
I have already contacted the artist-cartographer that will help me on this project.

Once again, thank you for having reaching out to me.

I wish you all a good day and good art.

    D. Orellanas. G.

    The Style:
My player liked the color style of Inkarnate (slightly dark) or the Erathis 's World Map from the Grim Hollow Addendum.

    Quality & Size
    • Pro' or Semi-Pro' : I do not care ? If anything, and if it's not arrogant of myself, I'll choose more about the map-style and the availability.
    • Required for: The maps will be posted on a Discord Server and on Fantasy Ground for my players to see.
    • Dimensions: I would say not too big (or they will take an eternity to load on fantasy ground).

    Time Constraints:
I do not have any time constraints.

Thanks your for taking the time to read trough this.
I wish you a good day.

    Orellanas.

Good day and welcome! I, like all here, would be happy to help you with the creation of your world. I create maps in a parchment style, looking like they were created in universe, for a very reasonable price, and I will work with you to create something within your budget. You can see examples of my work on my site, here.

You can contact me at greendinomaps@gmail.com

    Cheers!

Well I am certainly interested in your project! You can see some of my past work here I get told that my illistration style is fairly similar in some areas to the inkarnate stuff so that might work well for your purposes. I would love to talk to you more in depth about the project and share more examples that are yet on the website if you need it.

Feel free to email me at ralarismaps@gmail.com

I would love to discuss what price we can agree on for the project if you are interested in my work!
