Wip June/July 2016 Lite Challenge: Alonga city

    hi all,
i woke up early this morning so i started a sketch..
i dont know if i could finish it in time !! Anyway i'm going to finish it someday ! i love this start ...

Alonga is a small city of the old world, like often men seek a trace of ancient civilizations to build their city. Alonga's city was built around a strange statue, it looks like a fin Graidos, a famous fish of the region. Everybody believe it's a God's gift because it's build in a mysterious material. Few days ago, a powerful red light ray ripped the earth in three places near the city center.

In fact, there is a very old spaceship buried under the town. A little hatch on the "statue" allow acces in the ship...
Maybe someone went into it, and has inadvertently activate a signal ...

i have to stop and do my other real commissions !! but this one is so exiting ...
for the second illustration i was thinking to add the spaceship floor plan ... is that work as an illustration ????

Lovely layout KD! I could barely work out the detail from the first picture, but the second is much clearer.

Not sure a "city" qualifies as a "village or small town" though.

Either way, looking forwards to this one and your marvellous linework, especially if there's a slight sci-fi twist to it.

Sweet. Sometimes I get sidetracked drawing cool borders too.

    What're the tavern names?

Ahhh Copic Microns, one of the best pens out there. Copics and Prismacolor seems to be a good fit for these kinds of works. Great work so far, reped!
