    Wip Castle and Underground Area

    I'm working on a VTT/battlemap and wanted to post it here. This is the map from the B3 D&D module.

    The full resolution is 144 DPI, 1 inch = 5 foot.

    This is the map in full color.

    I'm struggling though with the lighting effects. The area has areas that go up and down without breaking onto a different map. I've tried to map out of the elevation changes. With #ffffff and #000000 being 'up' or 'down' to the next level.

    This is an isolated version of that.

    Thoughts on how to incorporate the changes without just a lighting effect?
