Looks great! Maybe the client comes back once he sees the map here.
Hi everyone,
Been away for a spell. Here's a commission I worked on over the Summer but never finished. It's been several months since I heard from my client so I'm assuming this is the end of the line for this project. Odd thing is, I received 75% of the payment and was just waiting to here back about geographic names (on the world map) so that I could finish the project. Never happened.
Anyway, this was intended to be used as a reference map for a fantasy author. The chap sent me a reference map of the continent of Brandish (the one that looks a lot like South America) and, when I was nearly done with that, then decided he wanted to further commission me to complete a full world map. This is as far as we got.
Cheers,
-Arsheesh

Wow, this is really good! Too bad it isn't going to be finished... I particularly like the satellite-map-feel this has, the colors are mind-blowing! =)
I plan to finish a similar looking map in the future when I got a more powerful computer to handle the data. Hope it gets this good.

Welcome back Arsheesh, great map, love the colors / textures.

Nice stuff Arsheesh Glad to see you back btw !
Unfortunately, bad things do happen to good people, so maybe if you hope for the best, your client will still come back to finish this.
It's a nice map
Good to have you back, arsheesh!
Nice map! As always in this style, your craftsman-ship is perfect.
Too bad the client isn't responding anymore. Seems to be a recurring theme, lately
If i can, i'll Rep. you.
I'm trapped in Darkness,
Still I reach out for the Stars
Thanks everyone. I'm OK if this remains uncompleted. I received most of the compensation for my time investment in the project.
Cheers,
-Arsheesh
Damn, man. Nice.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Every time I see one of your gorgeous maps I think, "Damn, I really need to learn Wilbur!" And then I never do.
I think the thing I like the most on this one is the way you did the icy regions - that looks really convincing!
