February 2023 Challenge : Sòla System View

Could not resist that trap! Challenge accepted. More than time I pursue a bit the redoing of my Resurgence setting maps anyway. Well, considering the short time I'll have to work on it though, I'm gonna do the smaller of the 4 systems.

I'm not sure I'll do this exactly like the Hyperion system view (regarding the data on the tiles above and under the map). I'm just placing the base elements for now

Looks great... The Sòla system ? haha , that in Italian romanesque subdialect means Scam, cheat and fraud .

@Naima : I did not know this. The name is based on the goddess Sol (norse pantheon), the goddess of the Sun.

I hope the asteroid belts are visible enough. I'm just doing the same as I did on the Hyperion system for now. Except it's a "small" star system, since it's based on the Trappist one.

It does look like an eyeball planet...but if it's tidally locked, the planets further in probably should be, too.

All the planets in this small star system (Sola is a white dwarf) are tidally locked. If you looked at the frozen Ægir, you will see the small ocean on the right, toward the star. The other ones are less obvious at this size, and sometimes because of the atmosphere.
I'll probably redo them in the more recent style I adopted, but here are the "old" versions of the planetary views.

So, I'm thinking about make smaller tiles about the military alliances on the top (less important in this small system), and place some data about asteroids (I've started this on the left) and maybe about the planets... Don't know, I don't want it too crowded.

Small update. I did the types of asteroids a bit bigger and moved thing on top. I guess it needs a bit more data about those asteroids.
