I Need A Map

I posted in the Buy/Sell section that uses Panjo. If you are interested please see my listing on that forum through the Cartographers Guild. I am not looking for a professional cartographer because I can not afford that. What I need is basically someone that makes maps for their own enjoyment that wants to make a little money. By little I mean a couple hundred or so. I would need to have the map completed by Oct. 1st and will give you some specifications with plenty of room for creative liberties. My book is expected to come out in July of 2017 but since I am being published by a small house the marketing will be mostly author driven, by whatever platform I can build in the next year. I need one or more maps for my website. Many books that come out this way flop immediately, I am trying a different approach. I am creating a Campaign World for RPG gamers and doing some other outside-the-box thinking. I am not trying to disrespect this guild by running a commercial on it but I think it is awesome that map enthusiasts that don't do this professionally, though make professional quality maps, have the opportunity to sell their work and potentially have it published or associated with published material. I own a bunch of the Profantasy software and love it even though I am very much the amateur. I do not like how difficult it is to convert fractal terrains to an overland map. I also have not figured out how to take a CC3+ map and copy just a zoomed in portion to make a more localized map on a separate file, or like I said, to jive a fractal terrains map with a CC3+ map. Any advice? I hope to be able to contribute to this cite rather than just ask for help. Any opportunity to steer other authors from my publisher toward this guild of cartographers, I will. Also that artist will be able to use the map as a representation of their work and post it wherever they want. Thanks there is an amazing amount of true talant in this guild.

It would be a subcontinental depicting large natural features, regional, political areas with city level urban areas indicated on the map.

$300.00 for the first map. It is not expected to be in the book but rather, on the website associated with the book, although that could change. You would be selling me the rights to the map which would bear your signature. I would mention you conspicuously on my web site as the illustrator of that map. I would obviously own all the locations on the map since those are my intellectual property. If this works out well their will be a need for, potentially, many more maps. Once my book goes to market if sales permit then I will be able to pay you like a professional graphic designer. Are you hand drawing these maps or using a digital format? Which one?

I do both. I make a unique hand drawn map that I import via a scan into programs to work my magic. I am sending you an email shortly.
