Wip June / July '17 Lite Challenge: The Temple of Life

Hah, sometimes the stars align just right, or so it seems. Back in June I was commissioned for a nine map job, starting with a political world map which I finished on June 25th (as seen below).

In posting this, I hope I'm reading the rules for the contest correctly? So please, should I be in breach of the rules, let me know and I will discontinue this thread.
Because the next map in that line of commissions that I'm working on just fits this contest to a T.

Dreavien is a large desert wasteland, part of my client's homebrew setting, consisting of endless dunes, mesas, dried river beds and old impact craters rising over the towering dunes. But myth has it that deep inside the desert an imposible oasis and a temple are hidden that hold the keys to life eternal.

Hi Wired, as long as the map you enter into the contest is started after the contest started you're alright - there is no problem that its part of an already created world as long as the map is original - so if I read your question right - you should be good to go

Not much else to do on a rainy Sunday, so here's (I hope) most of the lineart.

    LOVE the crater...

Is that the site of the Temple of Life?

Yes, indeed it is. The idea is to have the temple site be a stark contrast to the whole region with its dunes and barren mesas - and particularly the crater itself - by being a pristine, oriental temple surrounded by a grove of green trees/Palms, lush gras and a pond of clear, blue water.

Thank you! I'll probably marr the Impression by using a really flamboyant color scheme or something.
