Some some strange reason when I open an attachment, it is distorted and rotated. The distortion goes away if I zoom in and then zoom out. Any explanation on that??
I have begun a project recently mapping a continent divided by fantasy race types. These are three regions I have been working on. I've learned a lot since beginning these, which means some things I like and some I don't. I would like mostly to improve the texture of the woods (The Forest Webb) and the title block calligraphy for the "Bay Lenn" region. I've found a great resource for calligraphy, so before I get much more done on the other maps I am going to work on calligraphy skills first.
The Bay Lenn regional map is 8.5" x 11", the forested map (Aelflan) is about 11" x 14", and the bare-bones outline of Humar (on hand made paper) is about 20" x 25". The Bay Lenn region is visible on the north end of the Humar map.

2 of them are rotated but I don't see a distortion. And they are looking pretty good
I'd say you are off to a wonderful start here Cuin! I dig the overall style.

Thanks for the positive comments.
I've uploaded the files to an album. I don't know why, but viewing these works much better.

Very good work, I'm impatient to see what improvements you'll bring to this. I like a lot that city plan, the land shape of your middle map, and your forest on the third... therefore I voted for the three
Hi! Finished the second detail on the city Flinnish. Added a few other small towns, but calling this one done!
