It looks nice so far, looking forward to see how you develop it!
Hi all!
With a better view and skills largely improved thanks to the guild, I've decided to redo my old map of the planes for my homemade setting "Ave Tenebrae".
You can find the old version in my album.
I'll certainly have some space issues in some places... And I'm finding that kinda hard to do all those planes. Here's a try with the re-use of mountaines/trees done for another map.
I first did the planes logo colored and beveled like the one on the bottom right. But then, I tried something simpler like the one on the banner, for a better harmony. What do you think?

Thanks Domino44! I got to the conclusion that I can't do what I want just by reusing my old stuff... So I'll have to (try) to draw what I want, and that's gonna take a lot of time. Right now, I'm just working the "bases" of the planes along with some drawing tests (not scanned yet).

This one could be interesting !
This looks like it will be pretty cool Ilanthar.
I already like where it's going.

Cool concept. I'm looking forward to watching this develop.

I agree with my esteemed colleagues: cool start.
In theory, I like the beveled logo better, but I think you're right, the simpler one meshes better with the other elements.
Thanks a lot everyone! I'm kinda struggling with this...
Here's a bit more. I'm not convinced at all by my poor attempt of waterfall on A, nor by the roots and cracks on B & C... In the top right, an attempt for elements. Hope the giant trees are identified as such.
I agree with you Diamond. Maybe I could do another picture about the planes with more details and just the beveled logos.

Also, so many esteemed and talented cartographers looking for this thread... I'm feeling a bit under pressure right now

No pressure. Just don't... mess it... up.
Perhaps put some more dark tones on the trunks of the giant trees so they're a bit more legible? Maybe watch that the lighting direction is all the same, although I don't know if that's even an applicable thought for this map. Other than that it all looks good to me.
