(TAKEN)
Hey there, I'll get right to it... [TLDR]
Basics:
I'm looking for a fantasy city map that is going to be the epicenter of a new campaign I'm running. The entire campaign is named after this city, Vloyale. Vloyale is the heart of the known world, it's huge. I'm thinking about 50% or more of my entire campaign will take place here. As for layout and location (river, oceanfront, etc.), I'm completely open.
I'm not looking for each building to be named, I'll do that as I build the campaign, but I would like areas to be defined (slums, aristocrats, marketplace, etc.). Slavery is huge in Vloyale, but slaves generally live on premises of those they serve. Therefore, the 1% usually have estates compartmentalized within the city (maybe separate walled areas within the different districts of Vloyale).
There is a big difference between the 1% and the rest of the people. The 1% are Clerics, Mages, and Politicians. These three groups are the power holders of Vloyale. The Clerics stick together, probably in one large defined area. The Politicians don't have their own district, but they always live in wealthy areas. The Mages are scattered through the city in their own personal estates (one might have a lavish manor smack in the middle of the slums).
Style, Quality, and Size:
I'm thinking two tone, in the style of a vintage map, buttery velum with black ink.
I just bought Vloyale.com and I'd like this city map to be the homepage image. The idea is to be able to click on an area, "The Slums", and get taken to a new page with a zoomed in view of that area. I'll build each of these webpages as the campaign progresses. By the time the campaign is over the community will have an awesome fully fleshed out resource for all to use.
If I were to print off the entire map, I'm thinking about 24x30 inches or so... I'm open an aspect ratio.
Timeline:
My campaign begins on the 14th. I'd like a rough by then, if possible. The final version will hopefully be completed by July or so.
Copyright:
I'd like to use it on my webpage. As this will be a community resource, the map will be available to all.
Money:
I have no idea what to expect to pay, but I know quality work doesn't come cheap.
