Good Morning all,
What a great resource you have here.
My primary interest in the Cartographers Guild is to pick up ideas for mapping. Especially Underground, Cavern type systems and areas.
Picked up CC3 after having some of the other products from the profantasy company. I've a campaign to start running again and the main map looks a whole lot more artistic with the new features.
The primary intent of the map I'm making is for the game but I wish to have it look decent too. Not as great as some of the ones I've seen on here for nearly artistic sake but the game requires information to be placed on the map so that takes priority in some instances.
Personally I've got over 20 years of RPG interests and along with that comes world building skills of various sorts. History is also a favorite topic of mine, and yes I like old maps too.
Thanks for the resource, I look forward to reading and posting.
JJ

Welcome to the Guild, JJ!
You're right, the Cartographers' Guild is an absolutely invaluable resource. Please don't hesitate to post images of your map as you're working on it; you'll be amazed at the insight you'll get to help you along your way. And there's no reason you can't have all the information you need on your map and still make it artistic as you want it to be; it may be as simple a matter as placement or something. Give us a WIP (work in progress) and let us take a look.
