Nice. There's a lot of room for some neat points of interest in the forest thou.
This is my first town map that I have made with CD3

The town is centered around the bridge on the river since it is on the main trade route between The City and Cyric and Bohn.
It is a small town, and its primary function is to provide a decent inn and resting place to travelers on the trade route.

Maybe some clearings, a logging camp or hermit house. But don't overdo it. Sometimes a map should be kept simple.
Nice map.

Gandwarf has fallen into shadow...
Great job, especially for the first time.
I'll echo the others, a few 'points of interest' in the nearby forest and maybe some details in the farmland outisde the city is all I can think of to add.

You might want to also consider a bit of a clearing around the walls. Generally, the lands around the walls were cleared so that you could see if someone was approaching. They were also cleared to provide materials for the walls and houses of the town as well as fields for farmers.
Good solid map there and a great first attempt with a new bit of software.
I like the trees with their bit of drop shadow which makes them look a bit taller. The only downside is that the wall and fort posts have the drop shadow on the inside so to me it looks like a trench and pits instead. One to remember for next time tho.
Good work.
