Thread: Realm of Champie

    Map Realm of Champie

    Hey Guild !

After years of drawing totally normal 'shrooms in my dear old sketchbook, I jumped into the cool Challenge inviting us to map a fairytale and created the original lands where all 'shooms grow : the Realm of Champie. This map only shows a part of it unfortunately but hey... it's already something

    Usual things-to-know :
    - Rougly 16x16 300dpi,
    - Hand drawn in Photoshop CC2020 using a Wacom Cintiq pro 16,
    - WIP thread here.

Hope you'll love it as much as I loved to draw it !

Talk about fantasy !!! Not only the drawing is fairylike, but the whole atmosphere you've added to the composition (even the fairy powder sprinkled on the picture) makes you dream!
(I was almost expecting to see a smurf leaving the city... but that's another story...)

Ewwwww. A land full of mushrooms seems the meanest type of torture ! Really great look though and the mushroom borders really work well!

Your layouts continue to be a delight! Hard not to be in favour of the 'shrooms.

So glad you love it, Jo !! 'was very good to just be a child here, drawing freely ^^

Yeaaah, torturing people with 'shrooms actually is my favorite hobby. Nothing better to ease stress after a long day drawing forests !

Haha, thanks Kell' ! I almost went for a very dark color scheme, but finally ended with this one... However... maybe I'll edit it for Halloween later this year ^^

Beautiful design and framework, as usual! Love the delicate inkwork... as usual :-)

    Another little wonder.

I like the happy coincidence that brought the great amanita in the middle of a forest between two mountain ranges...
