Default Apr / May 2016 Lite Challenge: A Ghastly Rest

So, my first challenge in about 4 years.. feels good to be back
Since there is no real rest for the wicked, my map, although a campsite, will be a battle map as well. First sketch coming up as soon as I get the stuff placed in my mind

that's the cool thing... relating these mapping challenges to current projects. I'm using it to map a possible chance encounter area for my campaign. So this challenge is helping me in any case!

whole heartedly agree ladiestorm - but even if you can't use it you'll get better everytime ... but really cool if you can use it... and a good GM always gets to use her/his stuff ...

"the left door you say"... rummages through papers and quickly shuffles the doors... "ahh... the trap of unescapability.. MUHAHHHAHHHAHAAAAAA"

lol.... I can't tell you how many times I've done that!!! Give them the option of two or three different doors, knowing that no matter which one they pick, I'm putting them in X room, with X trap!!!

Of course, the downside of mapping my dungeons... I won't be able to get away with that anymore!!! lol

Oh! I disagree. Divide your map into two parts. The first part shows the point up to the doors. It doesn't show what is behind the doors. The second map simply shows what you want the PCs to walk into. No matter what door they choose, that's the destination to which it opens.

Hehe, you knew exactly what I meant! Very well, you "DM gentlemen and ladies"! I refuse to put guys and gals because I can't stand that word.

Also, real apologies Tilt for this spreading through your challenge thread. Hope the map's going well!

Now why didn't I think of that! Now see, Mark... that's why YOU'RE the Master, and I'm just the lowly apprentice!
