Nice, Makes me think that the city planners wanted a circular city, but it keeps growing and busting out at the seams.
This was tough. I did a drawing the other day, the 30th I think. Then I saw this challenge last night and wasn't sure if I could get it done in a night. It's not super complicated but it was time consuming. I really need to sleep.
The original drawing was for a new map idea I was going to be working on soon for several major cities.
This challenge took it in a slightly different direction but it was helpful for me to see what it might finish looking like.
Okay. Off to bed.
Here's the drawing

and then the finished map.

Perhaps it's the sharp colors, but it gives the feeling of a really neat poster. Great job!
Oh, and, the wrong image is showing the challenge thumbnail. Probably the text below the picture doing it.
Cheers,

It looks unfinished at the moment since it doesn't display any informations. Do you plan to add labels or other kind of informations on it?
Bogie - that was sort of what was behind it. And it did start as a circle.
tainotim - It was to be a poster concept. This iteration is a bit different than originally envisioned.
And thanks - I'll edit the text.
Max - I only had 3 hours on it - from 2am to 5am.
I'm not sure when the challenge closes so I don't know if there really is any time to do more.
When does the challenge close Max?

Well, I'll try posting a second WIP to see if it'll pick up the right image. [It appears this worked.]

Very interesting concept. I agree with Max though that it does still feel unfinished. But it looks cool.
