Just a quick destress and experiment with sci-fi, because of course I don't usually do sci-fi.

This is a very bare-bones craft, no weapons, just an advanced super light-speed system attached to a nearly transparent ship with a bed for the navigator, who meditates to guide the rest of the crew through fold space. There is only room for a couple of people at the front, and neither is the captain; they defer to the navigator, and have equal access to the control of the ship that is not done through the advanced mind powers of the sleeping navigator. Their job is to watch and never engage, escape if needed, but never to start a fight... just to track this strange galaxy's movement and report back to central command.

Thanks. "Illustrative" is fair, I did draw/paint most of it myself, with the exception of the underlying floor tile texture.

I got the other level completed (there's this just one lovingly rendered chair I think stands out as being what I wish I had more opportunity to do...) and gave it a little bit of a story.

...Maybe my color schemes adapt better to sci-fi than they do fantasy. I'm pretty pleased with the correlation. I just don't feel smart enough or vectory enough to claim 'sci-fi' most of the time.

It does! The halo effects are the best! I'm not fond, however, of the texts, mostly the ones aligned to the left and the thickness of the labels' outline.

    Thanks, Larb and Eowyn.

Eowyn, that's fair, I phoned in the font choice and well, the thick outlines were only because some other people lambasted me for not having thick enough outlines in their opinions. I modified the text and I've gone in and added a few more details in the periphery that should all help balance it out a lot more.

Great concept Tiana. I like all the little details around the ship and how they add up nicely to a wonderful map!

I like it! I agree, your preferred color choices work well with SciFi. Very exotic looking!

I love that the cat is too cute to be an ethical violation .

Lots of great details, & a great color palette.

I like it even better now! Can I nitpick? Thanks! I think these titles need to breathe; would be nice to give them some space imo. ^^
