Great map. Loved the perspective!
I started this over in an experiment thread some weeks ago along with several other maps when I was just starting to try out doing landscapes in perspective. http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=29817
There was to be a story to go along with it, and there is, sort of, but I have not had time to write it all out.
As it had been a while I realized I had not posted it in finished maps so I am today.
I was wanting to make an adventure with several maps for this and hopefully I will when time allows.

Great map. Loved the perspective!
Excellent work J.! The only (very minor) nitpick I would have is the yellowish glow around a couple of labels that don't make them that much legible.

I love the clouds and the title font. I do agree the orange glow around two of the labels could maybe do with being a bit brighter.
Awesome! I want to be there!

It's nice to see the finished product. Very well done sir!

Thanks Mateus.
Max and Sarithus - thanks. I'll have a look at it.
Sometimes I change the glow from screen to overlay to get a better or different effect.
That may be the case here. I'll see if that can be improved.
Obbehobbe - Thanks. If I get the story done and added you may change your mind.
Thank you arsheesh.
edit - I just changed the glow to stroke and changed the font color.
I think that is more readable. A bit less exciting but readable.

Hmmm, I missed seeing the first one, but this is certainly beautiful!!
Nice to see this one again, because it's gorgeous! Can't rep, which is a shame, because this one really deserves it. Fantastic piece of art!
Thanks chick.
ChickPea - thanks. And no worries.
