    The inspirationcomes from an ancient Anatolian tradition. For instance, in that region, people used to create massive coffins for their esteemed heroes and place them within equally grand tombs. During my visit to a historical mosque last week, I noticed a broken piece on the third floor. It was explained to me that it had been damaged by a horse belonging to a particular dervish (whose name I forgot).
