Another map for my Axis victory HOI4 mod, same setting as last time. We recently revealed the invasion of the Nazi Reichskomissars into South Africa after game start and I wanted to make something for it, and chose to emulate the loading screens from one of my favorite games ever, World in Conflict.

Bit weird, but hey it's probably different than anything posted here before.

Yeah, different indeed, but I like it. Sort of hearkens back to the days of 8bit video games (was that the intention?)

True enough, it is different alright, but I do like it. I'm a sucker for strong contrast, and the colors pop out very nicely against the black backround. Very cool!

If you're familiar with the movie War Games, I believe it's supposed to harken back to that style. Cold War era tactical maps.
