Fractal Mapper 8 Raster Tutorial

The Vintyri (TM) Project has released a free and open 222-page PDF tutorial (40 MB) for raster mapping with Fractal Mapper 8 from NBOS Software. The PDF is accompanied by 47 MB in support files used to work through the PDF. The topics cover how to make regional, town and dungeon raster maps as well as symbol presets and symbols with FM8. It also shows how to make symbols (objects) with transparency with Paint.NET. The tutorial can be used with either the full version of FM8 or the free trial version available for download from the NBOS site. For full information, see the news announcement at:
