Excellent work as always, although I could nitpick to personal tastes, LOL... a touch busy for me in a B&W... the work itself is very nice for the style. I would also have preferred niftier symbols for this style, but that's just another nit.
Hey guys,
Here's a piece commissioned by the writer Andreas Huesman for his current book project. Obviously the request was a black and white map (6"x8") This was digitally hand-drawn on Photoshop, as usual.

Upon the Creation of the World the First Dragons cast their seed in the light of a Sun and a Thousand Suns, beneath the Moon and a Thousand Moons, on a World and a Thousand Worlds.

Nice map! I can't help myself to think it would be better with colours or a texture effect, though.
I like it. For a book i think it is intricate enough. Especially if it is only a MMPB.
As always, nice mountains! Have a Like.

Dat compass is amazing ans I am really surprise how can be nice this map witout a detailed legend.
Your high productivity forces me to run away without repping you. it is really sad because the map is good.
Thanks guys!
I first tried more pictural icons but that made the map busier so i decided to go with more simple and legible ones.
The request was pretty clear : no color, no digital effect or textures, full hand-drawn map (except labels)
Since terrains types are drawn and symbols (cities, roads) are pretty obvious, there's indeed no need of legend on this kind of map
a MMPB?
Macaroni Mango Peanut Butter sandwich?
Lol...sorry guys/gals...i was under the impression that on a forum such as this, everyone is geek enough to know shorthand for stuff like mmpb aka mass market paperback The smallest paperback version of books.
