Nice to see you posting again, Abu. Looking forward to seeing what you do.
Hey fellow Cartographers, so it's time for a donjon's random challenge again? Yay!
I will try my hands at a regional map of Eurrit County in the fabled elven realm Elion "the Kingdom of the Silver Blade" ( i loooove these cheesy names XD ). I'll go fully digital in Gimp, something i haven't done for quite some time. ^^

Admittedly i tweaked (reloaded) some things here and there to make the worldbuilding more coherent. Hope that's ok Diamond?
Stoked and curious how far i get until the end of the challenge...
Cheers,
AL
Nice to see you posting again, Abu. Looking forward to seeing what you do.
"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams"
Hi, Abu! Glad to see you're still around! Looking forward to what you'll do with this.
@ChickPea & Kell: Yeah, i couldn't resist throwing myself headlong into this...
So here is the first sketch:

Started adding some detail on the decorative elements to get back the hang of my drawing tablet and the brush dynamics in gimp once again.
I want to incorporate some of the elements of this campaign in the frame: A runecarved tree on the right and a stone spire on the left. Also thought about adding the silver blade (not sure if this Kingdom's blade should actually be the "Scythe drawn from the stone" the people are also talking about?) and the "Vile Spear of Amaes" too.
The towns and villages lie along the white river with the "Embattled Hills" on the one side and the deep forest (where the corrupted dryads live...) on the other side.
Next i'll flesh out more of the landscape.
Cheers,
AL
The White River flows through my map as well. Could we actually be in the same world? Sure, your sheet says "Asar", while mine says "Erenel", but like many of the entries, these would vary by perspective. You haven't been having trouble with halfling river pirates, have you? (We think elves are noble warriors, so we're asking very politely.)

So this is what i managed to draw today.
Great feel so far, look forward to seeing more.
I've always loved your mountain style, it's so uniquely yours.
