If you walk through the forest for about a day southeast of the village, then above the trees
you can see a red cone of tiled roofs, covered with moss and overgrowth, in which a hole gapes.
This is the roof of the old tower, which has been dragging out its silent watch for a long time.
It is rumored that a magician who studied fire magic once lived in it. Now other residents have chosen the tower:
giant spiders have long settled inside, which have braided everything around with their vile, sticky, strong, like ropes, cobwebs.
The spiders have proliferated and the complaints of the peasants about their raids on the southern farms are increasingly heard.

A location for a short adventure for any RPG system. My players coped with it in two and a half meetings. They were led here by the request of a peasant to save his daughter Eliza, who was dragged away by spiders at night. You can meet her in the mercenary camp. You can come up with your own hook or use this one.
The tower has the entire list of rooms necessary for a solitary magician and his work: a living room, a kitchen, storage rooms, a library, living quarters, a hall for magical rites and experiments. There are enough places left in the rooms for research: chests, cabinets, hiding places, piles of books, things and garbage. In the course of exploring the tower, the characters can learn bit by bit some interesting details of the life of its owner.
However, our heroes are not the only ones who came to clear this tower. During the adventure, they will have to interact with a group of mercenaries who came here on the instructions of a certain customer. I wonder will they can agree?
