Hello, my username is Kerrigan Sheehan. I use it as a pen name on several writing sites, which brings me to why I've come to your lovely forum: I'm a writer. My main project is a fantasy story, and my maps eh...they suck. I've made a basic landscape map showing rivers and elevation and a bunch of political maps, but I've never really taken the time to make a good landscape map chiefly because I didn't know how back when I was making the maps. I'm hoping to learn from you guys what one should look like. That way, when I go to redo mine I can actually make them look more like worthwhile maps and less like a giant blob of confusion.
