They don't have an english website yet but they seem to be promising maps with 3D overlays at resolutions at or better than google. Check out their "produkte" for some very cool streamed video.

If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

I want a whole world in a box! Let me rotate the globe beneath my monitor and watch the peeple!
It is pretty amazing. We should build fantasy-oriented add ons for the 3D mappen !!
That will require us fantasy mappers to build good quality grayscale height maps (not just render some clouds). My work is progressing in this direction anyhow, so I'll get cracking on that soon.

the section down at SkyView air photos. You can use a GPS track and overlay it on the 3D map. Its pretty cool.
Don't forget that I make a real time 3D terrain viewer which is free and here. Theres some sample terrains to try in several places on the forum - like here and here
Web site is slow today so it might have some issues downloading. Probably people hammering my 30Mb downloads on the other thread all at once

I love the name. I can just imagine the question that prompted the name.
"We have no idea where we are!
"Where the Fu-gawi?!

First thing I thought of was Fugazi (love them) but yours is much funnier
