Thread: The Bist Continent [commission]

    Map The Bist Continent [commission]

This map is the continuation of something that got me started into mapmaking as a profession.
Years back I did a map for client [here on the Guild] who was still gaming in a world his friend had been working on since the late 70's.
We visited that place two times before, first with the city of Frosthaven [2015] and then with The Northlands.
Finally, we have zoomed out and encompass the entire Bist continent, in which the other two maps reside.

I'll include a crop of where they sit in this map.
I hope you enjoy this travel through a land. I did.
    Cheers, J

I'll add some crops in the next post.

The city of Frosthaven is still one of my favorite maps ever (if not the favorite), so I’m pretty excited to see another follow-up to this project. And this map is absolutely incredible. Thank you for all those close-ups.

And I have to say that those blue river labels are so amazing!

    Cheers,
    Karl

Another piece of your goes into my inspiration folder... getting a bit crowded in there with all of your other work. A wonderful piece indeed, and it's cool to here that you get to be a part of such a venerable world-building project.

This is an amazing map! And I love seeing all those tiny details in the crops.
Wolkard's Wall looks interesting. Was it destroyed or never finished?

Very nice work, J. As always. The fine details are always such a pleasure, and your maps have a great ability to draw the viewer into the world.
