    Default April 2022 Challenge: Water

This month's theme is simple. Your task is to create a map centered around the element that gives us all life: water.

How you choose to approach the topic is up to you, and you are free to create whatever kind of map you see fit in terms of scale or subject matter. The only hard rule is that water should be the key feature of the piece somehow, which should still leave you with a great deal of room to get creative.

As per usual, the challenge will run until the 30th of April. And as always, don't forget to title your threads thusly: April 2022 Challenge: *your title here*,
and please remember to use the ### Latest WIP ### tag when posting your images.

One of the most important factors to consider when planning any development is water. As engineers, we consider this in terms of both nuisance water (drainage, floodplain storage, condensate from buildings, and so on) and essential water supply. These two aspects of the water-based design may be combined to create a more sustainable & partially closed-loop on-site water reuse system. Water mapping is the initial stage in determining the viability of water recycling for site development. Water mapping is a method of identifying the potential linkages between all available water sources which can reasonably be made accessible at the site and the project's water demands to provide comprehension of the systems by mapping all available water sources that can fairly be made accessible at the site and the project's water demands. A projected 10-acre property with a three-story office structure, a half-acre parking area, a groomed grass, and a moisture amenity/stormwater retention pond may serve as an illustration of how this works.
