Been working on celtic knots, a lot harder than they look! Still, it's a fun experience. Started the outline a bit. Enough for tonight! We went to visit the venue today, it looks great, but I'm exhausted.

May/June '19 Lite Challenge: Let the Sky Fall
Back from the dead!
Last year has been a rough one for me. I was diagnosed with depression in the spring, I stopped school for a year to take time for myself.
BUT the good news are all of this is in the past now and GUESS WHAT! I'm getting married in two weeks (ans still I wan't to enter this contest).
So I present to you my map on the verge of destruction.
The first thing that came to my ming was Asterix le Gaulois and his irreductible village. I grew up with this character, I know all the lines of the movies and I love him a lot. So here is a tribute to their ultimate fear : that the sky is gonna fall on their head. Sadly for them, the theme of the contest doesn't give me much choice but to make this true once and for all. Can't wait to work more on it!

I'm not sure if I like the corners on the Celtic knots, but the overall effect is excellent! Also a fan of Asterix and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this piece as it develops!

Awesome start. The latest one is a little bit too dark, but with a touch more illumination from that lightning bolt I'm sure that little village will pop right into life!

What a spectacular sky !!
It's the season for storms where I live : we have one almost every day from mid May to end of June or July, which I love a lot. But I definitely. don't. want. this. one. over my house ! o_o
