An old city map thought lost

This is an old map I did many years ago (well over 20). It is hand drawn then inked. This is a photo copy of an original that has since been destroyed. I was very happy to have found the photocopy as I though it was long lost.

Do you plan to work on this map? Glad, you found it. However it seems, that some parts are cut off on the upper and lower edge of the image.
I think it'd be interesting to proceed on such an old work. Do you think you could bridge the "style and methods gap"?

That's a lot of work! So good you found it again. I'd recommend cleaning it up or reproducing it over a grid, then run it through LiveTrace in Adobe Illustrator (or getting a friend to do that for you).
That would give you a good, clean and scalable, restylable lineart layer to work with.

I haven't thought much about reworking this one. I may reconsider it now that it has been brought to my attention.
