Great entries, everyone! I ended up voting for jax for the sheer creepy feel of the dungeon, and jt for the gritty draw-and-annotate as you go feeling. Each entry was a very well-executed example of its style; in the end I just had to vote on "feel." Again. You all rock.
Gidde's just zis girl, you know?

My votes went to Jax and lapada.
Jax, dude, that is a WINNER! I love the dark hues, the layout, the creepy medieval vibe, almost Brothers Grimm feel of it. Awesome.
And lapada, that line work is exquisite, beautiful, gorgeous, and any other complimentary adjective I can think of.
I second Diamond - Jax and lapada got my votes too and great work all - good to see so many entries

I really loved lapadas map. So clean, interesting and well done. Its one that could so easily be seen in a brochure, book or module. I would think a very marketable style for publishers. All the entries were great and I liked pindercarls art but my second vote went to Dyson because it was just a very well done pen line map and we don't see so many of them any more.
Get all these people silver compasses and into the main challenge !!!
Pindercarl and lapadas. Great!
lapadas, I checked out your blog and you are great artists. I subscribed - Wish I could draw like that.
