What can't you do J.? These are all great, but I especially love the academy floor maps. They are really inviting, even for me as a role-play novice.
Great work as always!

I was contracted by Drop Dead Studios to produce a series of maps for their upcoming Wizard Academy adventure module for Pathfinder.
It was a number of full and half page maps of the academy, dungeons, and such as well as some lair maps.
Presented here are all of the non-lair maps. I'll post the lairs later.
They had requested me to do these in a style I had used for them previously with some iconic symbols for some other campaign books.
It was fun to do and really advanced that style for use with maps.
As follows, the academy levels on 2 pages, then the 2 dungeon levels, plus an overland map and a caverns map.

As an added bonus I thought I'd upload the early progress sketches from when I was laying out the dungeon levels.
They show the current level overlaid on the level below it. I enjoyed doing that.

Really great job! Congrats
Very cool! I'm glad you posted the progress sketches. I like to see peoples workflow and it is also a great way to get a 3-d sense of a structure. I took a map a drew a while back and turned it into a isometric perspective map, in the process found out that a number of the elements of the original map just plain didn't make structural sense.
Thanks for sharing

No rep to give you!!!!!!!!! These are incredible!
Like tainotim, I really love the academy floorplans - those are simply great.
Thanks tainotim. I try to do new stuff as often as possible.
Sometimes a client will ask for something I've not done before and push me to do something new.
Thank you Chick.
Thanks Cuin. That was one of the reasons I thought they were interesting was for a similar reason. I'm used to doing standard house floorplans and planning out the structural elements. But I hadn't done that with dungeon maps before and so wanted to find a good way to lay them out. That was why I overlayed them. After viewing them that way I thought it looked really cool - like you were seeing through the stone layers. I will be using this method when I do Moria.... sometime.
Thank you as always Domino. No worries, it happens.
edit - Diamond, you just slipped past me while i was writing that.
Thank you Diamond.

Absolutely great. While I prefer maps that are colored and highly detailed, it does not work well for publishing. This clean B&W style you used is so much better for that purpose, and of course, that is what they are paying you for.
I also appreciate that even though there are a ton of rooms, even the smallest is still large enough to actually work for it's stated purpose. I have been redoing a lot of old 70's & 80's TSR maps and I am sick of 4' x 8' rooms that have 7 large pieces of furniture in them. So, Kudos for a realistic layout.
I also enjoyed seeing the layered maps, it is nice when everything lines up.
Great work!
