Globe (1) and terrain map (1) for fantasy world (sketches provided)

OVERVIEW

I am a self-published author with three books (humorous young adult fantasies).

STYLE

Map style should be consistent with a fantasy map with appropriate shading. Color is not needed.

The first map is a planet drawn as a globe so the viewer can see the unusual topography of the planet.

The second map highlights a small section of the planet. It's from a considerable elevation so we need to see a long mountain range, forest area, foothills, desert sand, and specific landmarks (mostly villages). It's from too far away to show individual buildings.


QUALITY & SIZE

The images will be used for print and web.


TIME CONSTRAINTS

I would like images completed by January 31, 2017, but I do have some flexibility.

COPYRIGHT

I want exclusive rights for five years to use any or all of these images in my books and/or on my website and/or promotional materials. After five years, I want the non-exclusive right to use the images indefinitely.

COMPENSATION PROPOSAL

Initial payment via PayPal of $30 for the first image. The artist will render a preliminary sketch. After I sign off, the artist will complete the final image. When the final sketch is approved, the final payment ($30) will be made within 24 hours.

If my publisher decides to use the images, then I will compensate the artist an additional $40 for each image used. The artist will also receive credit in the book for their work.
