    Default The University of Opath

    Hello again!

After doing the cartography of the Lands of Opath and its main city, Alberich, I'm now mapping the University of Opath. I'm superhappy with the process because it's the same client, and the same world, but in different scales — super nice to hone my skills!

I started it a few days ago after asking Misty Bee for some tips on the perspective: I wanted to do a oblique/military view, and her Guild map was awesome as inspiration.

I dropped last month's challenge to work on this map, so the least I could do was to share some progress on my current endeavors. ^^
I've to finish this in two weeks, so it'll be fun to post here in the meantime!

    Any comments are welcome! =D

Today I laid some base colors and did some lineart — although the base sketch is super regular, I'm mostly tracing it freehand so the final result isn't too geometrical.

Some more progress — now it's basically detailing and labels, so it'll still take some time.

The cave cutaway is very clever!

    Thanks, Francissimo and Tiana!

I didn't post here over the weekend because I was rushing to finish it!

It's done, and I posted it on the Finished Maps section.
