Man, think of all the detail that I could put into something so large...I don't think that I'd ever finish it. Yowza.
This is the Klencke Atlas (Commissioned as a gift for Charles II by Klencke a Dutch sugar merchant who wanted Britain to buy his sugar). It's the world's biggest book.
BBC4 is running an incredible series on cartography (mentioned in another thread) and the British Library is also running an exhibition in Tandem. I'm going next week and (if I'm allowed) will take some pictures.

I'm not convinced
These are the computer billionaire's panties. (Commissioned by a computer billionaire as a modern chastity belt). It's the world's most secure panty that requires authenticated logon with seven layers of encryption.
BBC4 is running an incredible series on cyber security (mentioned in another thread) and the British Library is also running an exhibition in Tandem. The panties are made in miniature by the smallest gnomes and clever elves. They are kept in dedicated compounds in Silicon Valley. The weavers for this project are kept in a dedicated section called 'compound double-u' I'm going next week and (if I'm allowed) will take some pictures.
