May 2019 Challenge: The Prancing Pegasus Treetop Tavern
The Prancing Pegasus is the main tavern in the elven city of Alexia. Located outside of the city's main walls, it sits high up in the branches of a massive Óriás tree, reachable only by the spiral staircase that winds around the trunk (or via pegasus or some form of flying spell).
And yes, this is a nod to Dragonlance's Inn of the Last Home. One of my players requested a treetop tavern. (And then his PC got smashed on elven wine, failed a dexterity check, and fell off the platform. Oops.)

I like the way this is turning out. I love the idea of tree top buildings! I do have one question, though... how do we get up there?

Spiral stairs and rope bridges! I have to figure out a good way to showcase that.
Decided to ditch the wooden floor, since the entire tavern is set on a huge piece of stone hoisted up into the tree. I started adding details...but think I need to re-do the candles. They look like eggs.

That is a pretty cozy tavern. Nice details. I like the counter the most. As for the candles, they did not to me like eggs.... until you mentined it. Now all I see is egg

An elven tavern, I like it. Cool design overall. A tree tavern is a fun idea for an elven establishment.

I realized all good taverns need a back door, so I added one. And a bunch of trees.
