Random Maps I made

Ok so its been awhile sense I posted and I wanted to post some maps I made, I'm really proud of these as they are my first attempt at "snow" type.


Travel map

WIP once the adventure is done I'll post the finished map.

Here's some from a few months ago that I rushed to put together as well.

They are lovely - particularly that first snow map. Snow is hard to do and you did a great job.

ya I don't know how I did it but I'm tryin' to recreate that same style and effect but with little head way, but practice makes perfect. But this is after 3 months of working with gimp, I like the 2nd winter map myself, sense I did it all by hand (no copying and pasting at this point). I just did some more work to it and all I can say is it looks awesome imo.
But yes I have to say the first map is one of my best. Maybe repible???

ok here's phase 2...I'm goin' along the road using the smudge tool to smooth it out...then I'm going to save it open the old document and add a gravel effect over the road and patches of snow...then copy and paste in the new document hopefully this will come out. After that I have to create a keep with multiple layers, for my game, I'm thinking of createing seperate images to assemble it in the VTT but I know you guys probably would like to see the finished image????

ya I'm having a few problems getting the walls of the keep up. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it, but I'll get it done none the less. Just got to get my mojo going....

Ok so I worked on it a bit and I got the wall done, it looks artificial...with is perfect ....next step build wooden towers to go around the walls, then i will place a stone tower in the main area, stable, a few long houses and stuff.
