Oh man.... another good challenge. I think I might try Dr. Evil's Secret Volcano Lair.
This month's June/July challenge is to map a multi-storey villain's lair. This could be anything from the classic necromancer's tower, to a many leveled zeppelin or flying castle. The only requirement is that it have more than one level and that it be used for nefarious purposes.
This should be detailed enough to use as a reference for combat encounters but it is not required to be at a large enough scale to be printed out for use as a battlemap.
This challenge will be closed on the 15th of July. Happy mapping!

Now there's an excellent excuse for some lava. Nothing quite like a good volcano lair.

okay... questions popping up...
1. are there any rules about the map having to be on one "page" - course multiple levels would be easier on several separate maps?
2. Mature content - any rules about that? (it is an evil map task after all)

That would be the bedroom of any 17 year old these days :0
To answer your question tilt, I think the position we've tended to take about mature content is that if it's not gratuitous and is there for a good reason then it's fine, but be aware that despite the appearance of a high number of old fogies on the site there are some younger people too.
@ Diamond: That'll be my very next map
@ ravells: Yep, thats what I thought ... I'll post a warning then ... and I'm not sure I'm able to carry out my vision anyway *lol*

still need an answer concerning the media for multi-level entries. Could I make my map in a pdf so I don't have to have all levels on the same page?
