Thread: Moorland Stream

  1. #1

    Map Moorland Stream

A hilly field near a shallow creek. The water here is murky and is not even knee-deep. Some of the plants growing along the stream include: hogweed, bergenia, and common reed.

Adventurers should be especially careful around hogweed as its sap contains toxic chemicals that cause a light-sensitive skin reaction which results in scars that last from a few months to several years.
Touching the plant can also cause long-term sunlight sensitivity, if the sap manages to get into a character's eye.

Pretty nice! I think some further shading could help it feel a bit more alive, but I do enjoy the lineart a lot.

I like it ! I'd add some highlights on the stream to add some more contrast but as the others have said, it's a great style already !

Thank you for encouraging words, everyone! Shading is definitely something that I need to experiment more with.
Digital coloring is still something that I am a ways away from feeling fully comfortable with, having started getting my feet wet with Photoshop only around December of last year.
