1) Make a copy of the symbol.
2) Flip the symbol in a graphics program.
That gives you two symbols, one flipped.

Sorry to bother you and I've checked the forums but i haven't had any luck with getting an answer. Is it possible for someone to flip symbols in FM8?. There's a tool there in the actions menu but to my knowledge it doesn't do anything...
