Hello,
I finished my world map finally. It's the world map for my upcoming D&D campaign, so it's more made for usability then realism and also why the colors are more 'popping'. It's a world of magic, so things happen that are not realistic.
See the creation steps here: Creation Thread
It was made with Photoshop including some actions and a plugin. No other tools required.
Tips for any further improvements or my next map are always welcome.
it was a lot of fun to make this map.
PS: I had to reduce the quality slightly to go from 13.something to 11.something MB.

Wow i like the style a lot ! The glistening water sells it all for me
Lovely work, congrats !
Very unique style! I love how that water came out, it looks amazing. Cool icons for the settlements too! I'm not completely sold on the shapes of the continents/islands, they look a bit too clearly Photoshop cloud filter generated, to my eye at least.
I'm sure this will serve your players well.
Thank you. Yes, I'll check how I can improve on the basic shapes in the future. I didn't fiddle with the shapes too much because everything I tried made it look worse.
So there's only some very small changes to allow reasonable sailing the oceans.
One thing I totally forgot to think about is that the left and right side should connect. So it a) needs to be seamless and b) I need to think about sea routes and the connections in general of the people on both sides on this map.
