    Default Beginning a new adventure

Hi guys, (meaning, of course, everyone). I need a map maker fix, so I decided to drink from the fountain. In my previous attempts, I have only succeeded at majorly sucking (and becoming very frustrated). I hope to find some useful tools and advice from those who have been in the game a little longer.

    Default another step taken

Downloaded Gimp, workin' the tutorial, got lost, found myself, spent two days trying to make a line, and another two trying to find some color ... oh yes ... it's an adventure

    Hello and welcome! I'm Adam.

GIMP has a learning curve but honestly once you've mastered it it'll be your best friend.

Thanks for the visit, and the warm welcome @Okimouye, @AdventurePages, and @Gidde. I'm going to continue putting the journey in my blog. Come visit me there. I'm sure everybody's path is different, I seem to do most things in a different direction than most. For instance, my daughter wanted to make some dream catchers, so I bought some sheep, figured out how to shear them, taught myself how to card the wool, made some drop spindles, learned how to make thread and cord, then taught myself how to make dream catchers so I could show my daughter how. Hopefully, I won't have to start making my maps by dividing any atoms.
