    Map The Ashcan Strait

Just in case you don't hang out in Mapping Elements, here's the map I put together as a sample for my latest brush set, Homann.

The name comes from the Ashcan School, and all the locations are named after artists and people connected to that movement. I find it's a fun way to populate sample maps like this.

Always glad to see your resources in use. You've really nailed this period authentic feel. If I couldn't spy the fonts you use, I'd probably believe someone claiming this as an actual historical map!

Hahahahaha, right? I often feel like the Three Isle Press fonts are playing fantasy cartography with cheat codes turned on—they do a great job.

This is excellent! The brushes look to be straight out of the 17th-century map I have on my wall (replica obviously). Really a fantastic public good and great results.

Thanks, Tuluchi. I'm glad you like them. They look that way because they are. ;-)
